The Evolution of the E-Tops Rule
In 1964, the E-tops rule allowed planes to fly for up to 90 minutes. In 1985, it was boosted to two hours and is now 330 minutes on certain planes. But there are still places where these planes will not be able to fly. These include deep in the Pacific Ocean or Antarctica.
