The Story of the Altar of Light
The expedition planned another recording session at the altar of light. The plan was for David via gomez to do a performance on his flute while standing atop a large rock in the centre of the cave. As he's starting to play, though, his demeanour completely changes and he begins to sob heavily. And this went on for a good 15 minutes. When i asked him later what was going on, he did tell me, in broken english, that he felt something inside of him die when he was there. I took a photograph of that moment, which i actually have hanging in my house,. because it really felt like something out of raters of the lost ark
