There's horrible blake apathy that exists inn various class levels in the united states of america. The idea that a wealthy, sort of golf club membership type american bourgeoisie who traditionally vote republican would think that the republicans were not extreme enough is genuinely terrifying. In australia compulsory voting is just the most miraculously wonderful, awesome thing in the whole world. And every australian should be prepared to die to protect it.
