Geric Hasbro: The goal of this war was to destroy Ukraine as a state because that was an obstacle on Putin's plans to restore a Russian Soviet empire. As long as he has these resources, he'll keep throwing them and nobody knows at what point Russians will revolt. He says the only way to stop it is to defeat him on the battlefield. From Russian history, we know that Russians could tolerate suffering and thank ready to pay a huge price for military victory. But every geopolitical defeat, every military catastrophe always led to revolt and revolution Russia.
