How to Handle a Type Annotation in JavaScript
REK has a lot of string bags and structured data. We also have some structured data where things are known to be numbers or an event kind of interface. So for us, it was it was pretty helpful to have all of that data kind of typed out. There is, of course, the weakest link is where you accept the API response and then cast it into this shape. And at that point, TypeScript just trusts that you know what you're doing.
