The Okapi Mammal

The okapi is a mammal in the same family as the giraffe. The main natural habitat for the okapi is the turi forest, which is a tropical rain forest of africa. It has a primarily russet red body with striped flanks. Because of those distinctive stripes, people often assume this must be related to the zebra.
