Is the Eu a Perfect Example of European Integration?
The eu is such a perfect example that it's hard not to use it again. In the 19 eighties, most of the kind of organized new liberals were quite enthusiastic about the possibilities of european integration. What they discovered almost immediately is that that was not hard constraint. The very act of exceeding the mandate written into the laws of the e c b infuriated them.
