The Crystal Palace
In 1851 in England was the year of the Great Exhibition which was the first world's fair. Joseph Paxton who is the gardener at Chatsworth House a big stately home in Darbyshire came up with the idea to build an exhibition hall that looked like a greenhouse. The Crystal Palace was made out of what iron and glass and they were able to build it on schedule celebrated and then take it down like a bigger rector set. It must have just blown people away they must have traveled from far and wide and their jaws dropped at the wonder of this big glass and iron building.
