Buddhism was a religion dedicated to ending suffering. But when it became a state religion, they had to make the first compromises. They shet its horrible three strategies: we should do no killing, except be careful and prevent more killing. The second element that buddhism took is this idea of er. There is no harsh, onthological reality. And they used this to justify war. So i claim, if you really want to fight suffering, then beware of those who preach too much good.
