They don't have a rigid system of organization there are entirely link based obsidian does have folders, but you don't have to use them. I organize information where it's actionable, not just by the category that it corresponds to. And similarly in Google Calendar, if I have a calendar event scheduled somewhere, and there might be a waiver that I has to sign there, or a ticket that I have to show once I get there.
