Sartre was wary about the Korean War starting for which he also differed with Kessler as well as Maurice Meluponti they both strongly differed on that. The Western Left really fell in line with with the imperialism at that time what makes you why do you think that was it's sort of an embarrassment the way that that all went down how do you make it? Sartre himself is he's a fellow traveler it's really with the Korean War that he really kicks in to actually become more actively political involved something called the Ridgeway riots in France where there have been protests against like a American general who was coming there to take command of NATO.
