The Relationship Between Stimulus and Muscle Damage
Some of these are going to kick in earlier than others. The intrinsic kind of limit that the muscle fiber has for growth from a given sort of stimulus kind of workout, if you like, probably isn't going to be making enormous difference from our first set to our second set. Whereas the CNS for T, which is basically working by reducing our access to the highest threshold, low to units, that's probably going to kicking in really, really fast. And obviously the excitation and traction coupling failure, the calcium amylate T mechanisms, those are also potentially going to be kicking in very early. We're actually more at risk of producing more muscle damage with each set as we go more
