Is Distributed Practice Helping Students?
Valory's study wouldn't have looked to that, but a lot of the research i do includes what you're calling inhibitory control. So there is definitely going to be a sub set of learners who really struggle with keeping on task and ignoring distractors. Something like distributed practice that little bit often, i think, does help all learners, even if they struggle with inhibition.
