This is not some new thing where Lydia Thorpe has gone out and done this incredibly controversial thing that no one's ever done in the history of Australian palm. This happens once or twice or three times every every parliament. So like there are it is imperfect but like it's probably the least imperfect of all the imperfect options. But also I mean parties know who they're pre-selecting and they know what their beliefs are. And so if the political party starts drifting away from those beliefs or those hard lines then what do we expect to happen?
