The Importance of Diversity in Marketing

The percentage of people that identify as part of the LGBTQ group is on the rise. Among millennials, 10.5% say they are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer. That's a massive increase from 4.2% for baby boomers to 21% in generation Z. The rate of drug and alcohol abuse among LGBT members has also increased by between 5 and 10%.
