The Effect of Psychiatric Medicine on Pseudo-Patients
The experiment was to see how quickly the staff would detect that these pseudo-patients were normal. The volunteers presented themselves as totally normal, and they waited to see if the staff would figure out that they were normal. A special word should be said about the medications because if you're a normal person who does not need psychiatric medicine and you start taking it anyway, it can mess you up.
