Facebook CEO Sundar Pichai said his company would hire 12,000 people in a downturn. He also warned that the right thing to do was take talent off the market and ignore the stock market because of Google's cash reserves. "Google has been through the dot com bust and uh, the great recession facebook's been through the great recession," he says.
