The Impacts of Climate Change on the Economy

For some people, the sense that the worst impacts of climate change are a fate of conflict is in a sense a relief because they don't have to act. And for others, it's a license to do the most extreme things like solar geoengineering,. Even though the risks of those actions are really high. For many of us, I think the sense that we're approaching the limits or that we've gone past is just an impetus to put our shoulders to the wheel and keep working. So I'm not sure about what's genuine or not genuine, but I think that there are definitely different responses to the larger sense that time is running out or has run out.
