Dalia Diplito's Story

Dalia Diplito had been having an on and off affair with 29-year-old married convenience store owner, Muhammad Shahada. She told him that her new husband was abusive two days after his car was searched at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in March 2009. Dalia offered to pay a large sum of cash or hand over Muhammad's new Range Rover in return for his services. The gang backed off when they realised she was already speaking to a police officer regarding her violent husband - it was therefore too risky.
