Do You Have the Power to Communicate?

If you approach a conversation with wanting to win, or wanting to get your point across, that won't work. You're coming across as sort of domineering and trying to score points. And some sometimes people react to that by just tuning out. But if you start saying something about your point of view, i'm probably more likely to listen to you more. It's almost like social judo or social aquito. We don't have to both love this particular person or this thing can help us understand each other better. Even though we may disagree on many things, there is an understanding in our shared humanity.
