The Importance of Sacrifice in the Old Testament

There was an idea among the rabbis that outside the land of Israel you were on unclean soil yeah so one of the things that you did is when you when you got to the board of the holy land you like clean your feet. So maybe that that same idea is uh is it work here in the mind of the this definitely feels like something that a christian would do today or they would have done at calvary.
