Amazon and Whole Foods Relationship

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy released an annual letter to shareholders in which he sort of hinted a little bit about how Whole Foods has been performing since the acquisition in 2017. I feel like we always have the same conversation about Amazon and grocery which is that they say they're really focused on grocery and they want to expand that but their investments haven't always panned out. Walmart's have had a pretty big week as probably as usual but you know they've uh they've sort of divested a lot right this isn't just the stores They had some layoffs in e-commerce after a few years of really doubling down on it and then laying off warehouse workers fulfillment workers and then just hours ago offloading
