Using Your Breath as a Surfboard to Surf Those Urges
Imagine your breath is a surfboard. Your job is to surf these urges with your breath. So does the urge in your body feel tight or loose? You might notice, where is this urge located in my body? Is it in my stomach, my chest? If you're angry, it might be kind of in your hands. Just try to get curious about the quality, position, and intensity of the sensation. It's just such a different way of thinking about urges. I love the curiosity rather than the self judgment.
