The Liberals Predicted Evolution, Not Revolution

The liberals were also, ironically enough, super anti revolution. They looked back at 17 89, in the declaration of the rights of men for inspiration but the fear they had of the reign of terror made them shudder at the mere mention of the word revolution. So they preached evolution, not revolution. Most of them were constitutional monarchists, as opposed to outright republicans.
