The Importance of Islam in the Modern World

Liberal democracy and the rule of law are almost entirely western inventions. When other cultures have adopted these values, like japan and south korea, they have flourished. But when we talk about islam, all of a sudden the dial on the liberal moral compass just begins spinning uncontrollably. And it suddenly becomes impossible to navigate questions of right and wrong and good and evil.
