In the last year, almost a million hectares of rainforest was burned. CO2 emissions doubled in the first two years of Bolsonaro's presidency. Some parts of the Amazon are already emitting more carbon than it absorbs. The temperature there has increased about two and a half degrees. Twice the global average of warming.
