The majority of dogs will learn this in literally two minutes, ok? Much, much faster for than my vast majority. And then you teach that, you put them deliberately into an extinction trial to teach them how now to get the food from your hand. So i think what's happening is that, again, we need to separate the concept from the behavior you're training.
