The Silence of the Lambs by Clarice Starling

The novel is called "Silence of the lambs" because clarice starling wants to be heroic. She faces a choice at the end of her life: Do i stay here in quantico and get everything that ive wanted, or do i put that at risk? And she's going to get kicked out of the academy if they find out she did this in order to save another person. So it's at that moment when she faces damnation.
