The Role of HR in the Food Industry
When I left the Kroger Company and went to work for Nabisco and what became Conagra Foods, I was fortunate enough to have some background and employment labor relations by then. The location that I went to work in had a lot of employee and labor relations issues. And it was known within the organization to be a fairly volatile employee relations environment. We were able to completely rewrite the contract with the union and bring in better employee relationships and trust between the two groups.
