The Invitation to Respond to a God Who's Committed

There's a great incredible showdown between Elijah and the prophets of Baal, right on Mount Carmel. And this is so, so critical because here's the people, they won't answer when they're asked, do you belong to the Lord God orDo you belong to someone else? They waffle, they are uncommitted. And so Elijah says, next, there's a God who is committed; he's committed to you. He's committed to his commandments. And he's going to answer. We have the invitation to respond to a God who's completely faithful to us, but we're not always faithful to him.
