I still think there's a wonderful mystic or maybe dark magic aspect to this whole thing that I'm hoping somebody will find and exploit. Now, it's only because I was leafing through other Leibniz readings that I know he was like just explicitly really against mysticism in some ways. He wanted to make actual practical use of these and create calculus out of numbers rather than worship numbers. So, I don't think you would consider himself a mystic. At the same time, I also read somewhere that him believing in unconscious perceptions opens the door to maybe that we have some perceptions that we are unconscious of that are not like our normal perceptions.
