The Rise of Social Media in Academics

Many academics are still stuck on the manuscript being the like number one achievement that you must strive for to be promoted. I think people are also warming to the idea that social media and, you know, involvement on social media has value and has impact. And so they have more and more data using altmetrics to say that I had this impact when I did this podcast or I did this journal club.
