The Impact of AI on Blue Collar Jobs

Technology advancements have mostly impacted blue collar jobs which is Americans speak for lower wages factory work like manual labor. I think suddenly like these are such capable machines that they may displace the other side of that which is in the US called white collar work so professionals who do intellectual work in front of their computers could be replaced. There's a low probability of this but there's the potential that this kind of technology will decrease the demand for labor or replace certain jobs. My hope as a technology optimist and someone who works in this field is that what we're doing is building tools to enhance people's productivity and make things better for society  and unlock the creative potential that's in all of us
