Are We Holding on to Grudges or Just a Passing Emotion?
As we settle into the practice of minfulnessthere is a quality of loving kindness in it. This doesn't mean that we never get angry any more, though we never feel ill will or irritated. These states are going to come until we are onagamies, then they'll be gone. Non returnersthe dalelanis just radiates met in compassion. He said, sometimes i do get angry, but deep in my heart, i don't hold a grudge against anyone. And as we connect with that deeper place of good will underneath than whatever surface emotions may arise, we open more easily to the field of forgiveness.
