The Hatch Act and the Republican National Convention

The Biden White House has set itself up as the sort of enforcers of the standards, of the returners to norms. The fact that this ruling came and they've basically decided, ah, screw it, we don't care doesn't reflect well on them. Why would you violate the Hatch Act just so you can say the word MAGA?
