I thought that the whole proceedings began like a sort of West End fast because it began with Boris holding the St. James Bible saying, I promise to tell the truth and nothing but the truth. This is a guy who spent his whole life not telling the truth and running away from the truth. As his former mistress, Petri-Nelawat said about him, lying comes to him as easily as breathing. The trouble is he's not a very good liar. And so I think it continued to be a black comedy.
