What Is the History of Cybernetics?

Cybernetics as its own distinct discipline sort of comes about early World War two around right around that period. The US government, especially, are trying to figure out how to develop weapons of war and to make them effective. And so they're really bringing this idea of how do we calculate the firing of the gun of the weapon? How does that feedback from the gun, the reverberation, from its firing affect itself?
