The Women's Journal of Natural Justice in the 20th Century
Tien i po hujun was the most outspoken voice of her day. Like all these early feminists, no effort was spared by the establishment to push back against her ideas. She wrote a particularly well received essay in 19 o seven where she meticulously and persuasively laid out the whole case for women's rights in china's traditional society. The anarchism that locherpe and egen espoused placed equality above all else. They both advocated for a woman's revolution. Both were totally fine with the use of violence against authoritarian regimes if the times called for it.
