The Rise and Fall of George Cassiday

Back then, visitors entering Capitol office buildings did not have to go through a metal detector like they do now. So George Cassiday rose to the challenge and began to supply the congressional house with rum, whiskey and any sort of liquor they desired. It was like Uber Eats but only for alcohol and top secret. For five years until one day, in 1925, when a briefcase associated with Cassiday was left near the security check, it contained four courts of whiskey.
