What Is the Meaning of a White Bathroom Towel?

There's a lot of stuff in this case that just doesn't make sense, no matter what happened. In her left hand, she is holding a white bathroom towel that has no blood on it even though there's blood all around her and on the kitchen cabinets. I don't have a good answer for this whether she was killed or whether she killed herself. If anybody has a theory on that, I'd be happy to hear it. But I also don't know why a murderer would put the towel in her hand.
