What Do You Make of the Simulation Hypothesis?
There are infinitely many mathematical ideas you can write down and that you can proclaim, i might describe reality. But what do we learn from this? Nothing really. The arguments for the simulation ipothesis rely on some statements about how the fundamental laws of nature work. And there's also a lot of hand waving and fudging going on wen when they're talking about the computational capacity. If you want to discuss them on the level of a philosophy, or maybe over a glass of wine at dinner, is all fine with me.
