Council Culture Is Not the Key Issue
Culture wars is not very costly fe wi'll get you big lines, but it means you don't have to annouce spending commitments. You'd think tht they would have learnt that they should have a bit more slack in the system after the pandemic. We still don't have enough staff in the n h s and now we're looking at cutting the civil service by 91 thousand m. I guess what david cameron used to say, which was he was talking about running the government as a business? Should a government really be run like a business? It's quite handy to do politics that way. And council culture is free as well.
