The Importance of a Good Calvinist

James was firm for some of the older traditions of the reformed Scottish Kirk. The godly as they were known were looking for greater Protestant reforms. On the other side were followers of a very different doctrine espoused by one Jacobus Arminius. This has absolutely nothing, could I just say, to do with the country Arminia or the people who live there Arminians.
