The Tekken Languages, I Think They're Grades of It, Right?
Utah as Tekken languages also have vestiges of constant gradation, which presents itself differently in different languages. What's really interesting about these is that they're not simply happening at right next, it's not like morphine boundaries are causing this change. So historically, it sure seems like normal phonological processes were going on but over time, those patterns became fossilized into things that look like non-cocatative morphology.
