If we get away from this detached and anarchistic market system, think about the world as one system. Means standardization of all components for a given good like a car. If you standardize an automobile, which has its base in its basic function, is very simple - it doesn't need to have variety that's been generated through petition. All those component parts can be mass produced with high efficiency because of nature of large scale production. It means cost and resource energy goes down.
