Can Violence Make Racists Afraid Again?
In the 1920s and 30s in German during the rise of the Nazi Party there were constant riots and running street battles all across Weimar Germany. Can violence make racists afraid again or does it only help them? In the lead up to the first Charlottesville rally, the fascists went in looking for conflict. Today I'm going to be talking with a roundtable of people that I attended this protest with and we're going to try to get to the bottom of whether or not it's a good idea to hit Nazis. And we'll also be talking about what we saw and how we feel about the day.
