Rit is that he sees culture also as a force, as a mobilizing force. And so when he says, one of the problems here in the caribbean is that it's harder to mobilize a kind of universal proletarian solidarity there. But i see other avenues for mobilizing solidarity that don't go through the party or don’t go through the kind of solidarity of international proletarian soidarity. I think we should be free to cultivate those solidarities and to build on them and to take them in places that that marxism doesn't have a way to judge or adjudicate whether they might be productive or might be fruitful.
