Is There a Maximum Life Expectancy?

The maximum life expectancy, we're getting pretty close to, right? And we sort of asymptoted towards what we could probably achieve. Ray Kurzweil posits that in the near future, not too distant future, humans will be able to live as long as they want. There's something interesting that current generation wants to live forever but does not want to have children.
