The Life of Judy Human
Two weeks ago Judy human passed away she was a lioness of the disability rights movement. One of the ringleaders of the 1977 sit-in of a federal building in San Francisco which forced the implementation of section 504 of the rehabilitation act precursor to ADA. Later worked in the Clinton and Obama administrations championing disability rights throughout the world. She used a wheelchair after contracting polio as a toddler when she was a child.
