Sloan took more punishment in trying to be authentic in this movie by taking actual hits such as this one and aressing professionals that were hired from the film, than he did from any of the rocky movies. The punch that bull hurly gives hawk during the final mass that made his nose bleed was real. Everything in that scene is authentic, except for close upshots of their faces that were done later due to injuries that both men suffered while the scene was being filmed.
